- Brooks Museums Magnet Elementary hosted its second annual, “A Night at Our Museum", on April 24th. Families participated in a gallery walk and then had the opportunity to experience a museums based project.

As part of the Metropolitan Opera Guild’s Creating Original Opera Program, 5th graders at Brooks Museums Magnet Elementary School formed a company called Brooks Theater. ( Photos)

After weeks of hard work and practice, the First In Fitness Team finally got it’s chance to compete against other area elementary schools at Sanderson High School, twenty two other schools to be exact! ( Photos)

Thirty-five 4th and 5th grade students performed in this year’s Pieces of Gold performance. Pieces of Gold is an annual arts extravaganza sponsored by the Wake Education Partnership and the Wake County Public School System. ( Photos)

The Spotlight on Students program honors students who have excelled in a number of areas. Each year at a special ceremony the Board of Education honors selected students for outstanding achievements and accomplishments. ( Photos)
